Australia has some of the most remote drilling pads in the world, with vast deserts and extreme distances. Super Lift & Shift
ECS owns and operates the only super lift side loaders in Australia. These specialised are a safe alternative to winch trucks and more cost efficient than cranes. These impressive machines can lift and manoeuvre a variety of skids or containers up to 42 metric ton and 60ft in length.
In addition to our standard rig move services, we also have multiple super lift side loader trailers in our fleet which can lift and maneuver skids or containers up to 42 metric ton.
- 4 Point overhead Lift System for stability and safety
- Handles 14’ to 59’ oil field rigs skids fitted with bollards, and smaller light loads
- Handles 20’, 40’, 45’, 48’, 53’ and 2 x 20’ ISO – containers and flats from ground, trailers, trucks and railway wagons
- Extendable top arms for extra wide loads up to 4.5m and placing of rig equipment high above ground
- Can stack two containers 9’6” (2,900mm) high on ground
- Two extra big removable support feet plates and six plastic dunnage plates for stability on uneven or soft ground
- Able to be used in windy conditions, up to 50km/h
- Triple road train rated – can be towed in multicombination greatly reducing mobilization and demobilization

As part of our project management services, ECS provide accurate documentation and timely reporting to support the delivery of your project.
We compile and report daily on the progress of the rig move plan. Our daily reports provides the primary contractor an overview of information, which includes:
- Safety
- Load sequence schedule update
- Hours of work
- Operational updates
- Look ahead
To ensure the smoothness in operational delivery, ECS also provides experienced staff to schedule the logistical arrangements, supervise the rig move and assist in carrying out the transport plan (truck pushing), in consultation with the Rig Manager and primary customer.

Planning
We take care of all route planning well before projects start to ensure itineraries are suitable, correct road permits are in place and all authorities are satisfied in accordance with the laws and restrictions governing the hauling of such large cargo.
Project Management
Our team works hard behind the scenes to ensure all logistical requirements are compliant and safe. The entire buildings movement process is handled by experienced and knowledgeable ECS personnel from initial customer consultation, through site inspections and quoting, followed by planning, execution, oversight and reporting.
Site Supervision
We are committed to having a Site Supervisor on the ground for the entirety of any project or job to ensure everything is completed and carried out in line with planning. Our professional focus is on delivering every task safely, within budget and on-time
